[pchelpers] ==== JOHN ... SCOTT ... I NEED SOME HELP =====

Recently I  purchased a new computer.  In anticipation of transferring my 
files over, I  loaded my "C" drive onto an external HD.  When I loaded those 
files (12.4  gigs) back into the new unit, they loaded as one file.  I had 
thought 
that  they might be dispersed to the correct locations from which they came 
... to the  corresponding locations on the new PC.   In my dreams !!  Now,  
when I go to open the file I loaded .... I get that DREADED PANE called 'Open  
With'  -- Choose the program you want to use to open this file .   Ugh!  This 
file has documents, paint files of pictures, works document  pages, etc etc.  
The $64,000 dollar question is how do I get this file  open, and redistributed ?
 
        Your  expertise would be greatly appreciated.
