That's the irony of it. I never attempted to hide drives that way
before. The installation of XP is a couple of weeks old. There has been
no playing with registry apart from running registry mechanic to repair
it. Regedit says there are no "NoDrives" values in the registry. The
only other thought I can offer is that windows 2000 server may have
encrypted the disk, which means I can only back it up by running it on
the original machine (probably). If there is a chance to do what you
suggest, I will.
