You'd have to make the changes in your own registry for it to be
hidden.
RIGHT-click on My Computer, and select Manage. Click on Disk
Management, and you'll see what Windows thinks of the physical drive.
Be careful not to make changes here, as Windows does things "by the
book", and any changes will probably result in you not being able to
make backups. You'll need more specialized tools to repair problems
here.
