Great point. I would suggest that Jon go get an updated version of Outlook
Express and this should do the trick. I really like the full version of
Outlook 2000 and it is far better than Outlook Express, however go get the
update and you should be fine.

Betcha he is using outlook 2000.  The type of encoding is not compatible
with your older version of outlook express.  We've had this a few times at
work and have always got around it by using a computer with outlook on it to
extract the attachment.  Outlook and outlook express are NOT completely
compatible, even though they come from the same company etc!!!

ME itself should not effect the problem.

As Bevan says, check the type of encoding then lets see what we can do.  I
still reckon winzip will probably do the job.
