[pchelpers] Re: Invisible Attachments

I have been listening to Jon and his problem. There could be another answer.
I want to point this out to Jon, because he is blind and may not see it.

Jon, it there a message from Outlook telling you that Outlook has blocked a
potentially unsafe file?

This is happening to me every time I receive a file with an exe extension.
The file just is not there, nowhere to be found.

I downloaded a fix for Outlook one time from Microsoft and it is doing this
to me ever since. If I really want the file I will have to write to the one
who sent the file to me and ask to have the file send to me again to my
hotmail account. Then I can go to the net and send the file to my desktop.
That is the only way I can get around that.

I am not dreaming about this. It is true. Tonia told me there is no way to
fix that after I installed that fix.

Just my 2 cents worth for my son, Jon.

Many times I get something in email and I will save the file to my desktop,
then I
can open it with other programs or get to it later. In Jon's case, it's not
showing
the 'attachment', so I guess that option would be out, so I'm confused at
how he
could open it in winzip too.

(I think I would delete the email, and have the sender start all over! I
know Jon
can receive mp3's in email, even "I" have sent him one before and it opened
fine in
his email program.)

Just thinking outloud and not helping any....

I still reckon winzip will probably do the job.

Ahummmm OK, I have only a demo Winzip, but it unzips OK, sooooo how do I get
to the file for Winzip to do its job? Where would I find the mp3 attachment
so that Winzip can locate it?

Bet you're getting fed up of lille ole me huh? sorry guys!
