Ed: yep I do have an mp3 player, but even if I didn't, surely OUtlook should
show the attachment that the mail is carrying? Other folks have sent me files
that I can't open but it still shows me the filename and file extension.
Nigel: I use Windows 98 and the friend that sent me the file is on Millennium
. .. ??? Had no experience of Millennium so don't know if that would cause
anything like this? Oh and he uses Office 2000 I believe.
John: I've had that size attachment through Outlook Express quite a number of
times, but this is the first time I've had this happen
Thanks for all the suggestions folks!
Jon
