I agree with Scott !! I use www.adslguide.org Whether or not it matters that
the speed test will conducted in England I don't know but the test results
were much better than the test done on the other site. I have a half a meg
connection and my test results can be found here:

As long as you ignore the advertising. It says "... over 100,000
Satisfied Ascentive Customers", but the name doesn't sound familiar
offhand, which is, as far as I'm concerned, good reason to be
cautious.
