If you note he has a chance to upgrade to windows 2000 pro it was a gift.
Whether which windows he is using he was asking for help for windows 2000
pro. I want to say one thing that's not very nice. If a person prefers one
window to another that is their business-- This list is to give as much
help as we can for any computer problem that comes a long. That way we all
can learn. I know here in Canada it is expensive to buy MS Windows . So
upgrading is much slower here because of the cost. I will buy the pro
edition of Window XP but I will have to order from the US and pay the money
difference. The reason for my upgrading I am a beta tester for Microsoft
and I will need Windows XP pro edition down the road. I do like Windows
2000 pro as it is most stable than any of the other windows I ever had
excluding Windows XP but that's my personal opinion . There are oodles of
improvements at Microsoft site for Windows 2000 pro as well for Window XP
There are more businesses and governments in the world using Windows 2000
platform than Windows XP because of certain issues. Now you all be good
now<G>You all have a great day-- Jackie
