[pchelpers] Re: Install Thunderbird on UBUNTU??

Susan

Well I give up for now. I installed Thunderbird using this process. It
asked if I wanted to install it a second time. Since it did not appear
to be installed anywhere I let it go ahead and install. It downloaded a
small bit of data 185 something I can't remember and indicated that it
was completely installed. Well if it was installed it was never to be
found again because it does not show up anywhere not even in the
Add/Remove list. There was an email program apparently preinstalled
which works well. So I set that up instead of Thunderbird.

So apart from having a working email program I still recognize there is
a long way to go to learn this new system.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
