I don't understand your answer, and it seems you're confusing and
misunderstanding several things. Your user IDs and passwords have
absolutely nothing to do with your IP address, and Ziff Davis has no
reason to store the IP address you happened to have while registering.
Your IP address is assigned by your ISP and usually changes each time
you start the computer. Even if you have a static (permanent) IP
address, there is no reason a magazine would want to store it.
