Likely they use the same IP for internet gateway (unless it's dynamic).
The IP number will be attached to the TCP/IP protocol in Control 
Panel/Network Settings
For internal network it could use common LAN settings such as:
192.168.0.1
192.168.0.2
etc
There are several variations on this. Yours may be similar.
For local networks you can also use file sharing with NETBEUI which does 
not require IP numbers. Note: I have not seen this protocol on Linux 
systems, which prefer TCP/IP or other methods.
