[pchelpers] Re: IE6 Hompage

A google search shows several places from which the Browser Hijack Blaster
can be downloaded. Eric did you not receive the setup file I sent you? I
actually prefer the program "HijackThis!" With it you can find and delete
every process and program not desirable to have running on your pc, even
those of viruses that haven't been discovered yet. But one usually in the
beginning needs help from someone more experienced to decide what should
stay and what should be deleted.

The link works perfectly for me also, but, like Eric, I'm unable to
download the file itself.

Eric, try Spybot Search & Destroy; it should be able to remove DAP,
and it apparently has some features, like BHBlaster advertises, to
block spyware form being installed.

What features of DAP do you like? There are a sizeable number of
programs that can retry downloads, download muliple parts of the file
in multiple threads, and so forth.

Spyware and adware should not be used in an office environment, on
general principles, if nothing else. In any event, if you're not the
business owner or manager, then that person should be the one to make
that decision.
