Hi: I had to download a patch so my iexplorer would open too my version
6.0 I am running windows 2000 pro -- I could hardly go anywhere on the
net, I even checked my security level no matter where I put it was the
same check the updates on windows and iexplorer there was a security
leak, there is a patch as well. Once I did that it was fine.-- Another
time when I was using windows 98 I had a problem with my iexplorer I had
to delete everything connected with iexplorer even the installer-go on
my cd install an earlier version and then upgrade but that was was a
few years ago, I had tried repair everything you could think of but no
avail that was the only way I could solve my problem, hope this helps.

Hi Eric
Do you mean the browser window itself or an URL that
won't load? If it's the URL, you might like to check
if there's been changes made to the security area. It
could be set to high or the Content Advisor has been
enabled and your default home page might be
disallowed! You could also check other settings like
proxy server etc.
If it's the browser window itself that won't load, you
might like to install the SP 2 for your IE version,
since repair hasn't helped, that might be your next
option.
Regards
Tonia
