Hi Eric
Oops..sorry! A good question to a dumb suggestion. <G>
Wasn't thinking straight! Mind too saturated with
mugging for an exam. Anyway...
If you have access to another computer with access to
the Internet, you could download that SP2 and burn it
into a CD to install into yours.
Here's the url:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/search.asp?
If all else fails, you may have to reinstall IE from
scatch. Then patch it with SP2.
If you're using IE 5.01 and want to upgrade to IE5.5,
just install the SP2 for IE5.5 and you'll be
automatically upgraded. BTW, IE6 will disable your
ability to receive attachments in Outlook and Outlook
Express. Just something to consider if you're looking
to installing the latest.
Just my 1.5¢ worth
Regards
Tonia
