[pchelpers] Re: IE 5 doesn't open properly

If install/uninstall won't work, there may be file corruption. Start
with the basics. Scandisk thorough. Restore the registry from backup
(double click on the backup). If you don't have one, don't make the
mistake of creating one now.

Have you tried SFC to see if your system files are OK?
