Nope, I put in a new power supply and the cd-drive
and it started up with no problems. Of course the heat may
have taken some time off of the life of the components.
I had just put in a new motherboard, cpu, memory in this
computer 6 months ago.
The old PS must have been a tough old bird to stay
running 2 weeks without a fan. I wonder if it would
be worth it to put a new fan in it, or would the high
heat have made it ready to go out at anytime?

I hope it isn't past help. Did you notice any other adverse effects?

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
