[pchelpers] Re: Help please

That has happened to me, except nothing was greyed out; and I am on winME.
When that does happen, I reinstall my sound drivers and reboot. Hope this
may help.

I've developed a problem I hope someone can help me with. My sound for the
pc itself stopped working. I opened my sounds and Audio Device Properties
and under volume everything is grayed out. It says there is no Audio Device.

Clicked sounds none work. Clicked Voice it is grayed out clicked test
hardware it says none is working. Device manager has no exclamation marks
and it says it can not protect my pc to do a restore to restart and try
again I did three times didn't help. My sound works fine on my DVD but it
makes no sound when I boot up shut down or when mail comes in.

My program is XP HOME everything is updated. If you need other info let me
know please.

Help!
