Scott: Did you copy the file from the CD to the hard drive, and then
un-write-protect the file, before trying to open it? I'd tend to doubt
that Access will let you open a read-only file; many programs have
that problem, and typically, I stumble over it every time, and I spend
minutes cussing at it before I remember what the problem is.

No, I have the original file on the hard drive and that was what I was burning.
When I went to open the ones I burned, I get those errors.
The one on the hard drive still opens fine, no error messages.
I do not know how to un write protect this file.
