[pchelpers] Re: Hard Drive Readability

What happend to me was that I had a virus that locked most of my files on one
drive. When I tried to open something it would tell me "Access denied". Also,
most of the folders said "empty" but when I checked in my computer, I had about
60 GB worth of files on that drive. Now I can get to most of my files again.
Because of problems that I had, I decided to re-install Windows. So I am happy
I could look through my files to see what I wanted to keep.
I am learning a lot from you, glad I signed up.

Susan's problem seems to be that Windows is claiming that there's no
valid partition.

In your case, it sounds like you told Windows to make your files
private, which blocks access by other users, including other
administrators.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
