Very strange. Are you really sure? Did you try with a different USB 
cable? Most problems like yours are fixed by doing something like the 
following, but if the problem is really in the printer, these will 
probably not help:

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the printer (driver) (in 
control panel)?

Have you tried rebooting?
