I assume you made those filters to filter out spam. It's impossible to
make manual filters that don't throw out good mail (false positives)
*and* let spam get into your inbox (false negatives). And even one false
positive is usually much worse than hours spent pressing the delete
button, at least if you don't notice it by spending (wasting) time
regularly looking through the trash.
If Eudora doesn't have a spam filter or if it's no good and if you don't
want to switch to an email program that has a good one (like
Thunderbird), you can install separate spam filter programs. I just
updated the page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-mail_filtering with some
good programs you can use alongside Eudora.
