Here is a solution that works. Instead of a spam blocker use a program like
MailWasher to scan emails on your ISPs server and delete, bounce or blaclist
those you choose. And all of this before you download your email.

using spam blockers. The problem is that once they are installed Outlook
Express cannot receive my email. I have looked under the help files of both
programs I downloaded and neither of them had any articles on why this
happened. 50% of my email is spam. I have tried blocking them and using
message rules but new ones keep arriving to take the place of the old ones.
This is driving me nuts. Any ideas? Thank you for your time.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
