I remember something like that happening to me back in the old days.
It had something to do with the format.
Can't really remember how I fix it.
I may had got a different version of the formatter, or moved the drive to
another IDE port
or played with the jumpers on the drive.
Not really sure, but it was fixable.
And it seemed to always happen on a Hit. Drive
