Hi John

Yes my computer is still under warranty. I hope they
won't blame it on the RAM for any damage to the system
board and then tell me the warranty is void because of
that. 

Yes the RAM module was nicely seated. It clicked into
position neatly. Oh well, nothing's perfect!
