[pchelpers] Re: Free Antivirus

I am using AVG and only AVG. I have it set to check for updates at the time 
of day when I normally turn my computer on. Sometimes I manually check for 
updates at another time as well. So far mine is working fairly well. Is 
there a chance there is no updated needed to be installed daily? Perhaps 
there is a skip between days of needing to update your files?

They say it should not be done, but I did it for a long time.

I have Norton Antivirus and pay for it every year. I have also for a very
long time used AVG, the free addition. The two programs never clashed on my
computer. There has never been a conflict.

My desktop is in the shop and I am using my laptop. It also has both
programs running. However, all of the sudden AVG will not update. No matter
when I try I get the message that there is no internet connection. I have
cable and am always on line. I never had that problem before. It always
updated automatically. Now I am going nowhere with AVG.

Does anyone have an idea as to what happened and how I can fix it. Norton is
updating every day without a problem. However, I do feel better when I am
running two antivirus programs at the same time.
