[pchelpers] Forwarding animated e-mail

Using Windows 98, Outlook Express 6
Received a forwarded e-mail with an animated "picture". 
I forwarded the message but the animated "picture" failed to appear for the 
recipient.
Second try:
Before I forwarded the message, I deleted the previous addresses etc., but then 
the recipient fails to get the animated "picture".
Third try:
Saved the original animated "picture" file and inserted it into an e-mail. 
Recipient received it. However, she cannot successfully forward it. Picture 
does not show up on recipient's end.
What are we doing?  Wrong?      :-)
