Note that laptops are proprietary. About the only standard parts are
the CPU, hard drive, and memory, and they cost more than the
non-laptop versions. Note that the CPU is usually permanently mounted
to the motherboard.

Available "tested" (therefore probably used) on eBay for $152
(buy-it-now price).  So, the one that you're looking at is probably
just "new to you".

If the new motherboard is different from the original, the parts may

Mounting brackets for what?

A hot glue gun may do what you want.

As for the wireless, add-on cards have gotten fairly cheap; check
prices on USB or PC Card wireless adapters.  Be sure to check for the
correct PC Card version; they are different sizes and therefore not
compatible with each other.
