Ouch, you don't want to do that because that would mean losing all your 
user data, including your bookmarks!

Also that's the profile folder's location in XP, not in 98, which is either
C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<Profile name>\
or
C:\Windows\Profiles\<Windows login/user name>\Application 
Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<Profile name>\

In any case, it doesn't make any sense to delete your profile. If it's 
corrupted, you can still probably salvage parts of it, and you can get 
Firefox to work quickly by just making a new profile. That completely 
ignores the old profile and makes any messing with the registry 
unnecessary too.
