Arlene: Sorry I don't have mywebsearch after all. And Thunderbird is the
e-mail program that comes with Mozilla.
>>Yes, they are two completely different things. It seems, you got Torrent
as an extension from the official Mozilla site, and if you're sure you
never downloaded and installed the MyWebSearch toolbar, it was probably
installed automatically together with AOL. I would advise uninstalling
AOL and going to any other company on the planet.<<
Arlene: Soirry again.

Their email program isn't even capable of transmitting the address of an
Internet page correctly. It seems it always makes a copy and one of them
has extra junk in front and back. Or did you try to make it bold? You
should only send plain text email to email lists. Ask AOL how to turn
off all formatting, colors, and other junk that does not belong in
email. And ask them how to get their email program to mark all quoted
text as quoted by placing > signs at the beginning of every line. Better
yet, uninstall AOL and don't waste your time with them<<
Arlene:
Mozilla offers forums on the operating of Mozilla.

Arlene: oops. It hit a nerve when you posted about me twice, that I am
confused:)

Arlene: On the page that describes the Torrent toolbar, there is a list of
something-or-other which includes demonoid.com. Maybe Mozilla protects the
users from those sites since it is supposed to be so safe.
>>I don't know what you're talking about. I don't see demonoid.com
anywhere. The second link https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2607 is the
one that works and it does not go to demonoid.com.<<
Arlene: ah, well. all seems well now. Thanks for all of your advise.
Sometimes it is hard to keep up with you:)

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
