I sent your request in my name to the IEview mailing list
www.mozdev.org/pipermail/ieview/index.html since this is a Mozdev
extension.

I was a bit confused by what you said about http://care.usbank.com and
activeX; entering that URL caused the following error in both FF and IE:
"The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site
might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust
your browser settings."

This seems to not be an activeX error, and
https://www4.usbank.com/internetBanking/en_us/info/BrowserRequirementsOut.jsp
says nothing about activeX and says that Netscape 6.2 or higher is OK.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
