As George suggests, Spybot S&D may just be finding cookies. Cookies
are a privacy issue, not a security issue, and nowadays they seem to
be mostly just a concern to the paranoid. If you take a closer look at
what Spybot S&D says, you'll be able to see whether or not it's
talking about cookies.

The next possibility is that these are indeed undesirables of some
sort. If they are, then there are two things to consider. First,
such undesirable stuff is usually only sent to your system by
"seedier" web sites. If you're wondering where the files came from,
you can simply scan your system (especially the cache area) every 15
minutes or so while you're using your browser. If junk appears a few
minutes after you go to a particular site, then that site is probably
the source of it, and that site and probably similar sites should be
avoided. The second thing to consider is that the junk is useless
unless the browser does something with it. IE automatically handles a
number of things by default that FF does not. Just letting stuff sit
in the cache is unlikely to harm you (although to be prudent, it
should be removed anyway), unless you have a tendency to go poking
through the cache and trying to open stuff.

If you're seeing stuff in the FF cache which was not showing up in the
IE cache, then probably there's a difference in your settings.

I can't find the piece of paper but I think it was McAfee antivirus that
found firefox profiles cache and maybe a trojan, and it is gotten rid of.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
