Well folks, Inge and I 'kind of' found a way to resolve the issue where she 
could not
get the files I was sending her as attachments.

I asked her if she had an alternative email address that I could use like 
Hotmail,
and she did.
The files showed up in her hotmail as attachments, not scrambled text, and now 
I can
send them to her using Hotmail.

WHY her Outook scrambles them is still a mystery, but at least this will work.
