Still, the fact that you can see other computers is at least part of
your problem; one of those other computers likely has "HOME" as a
computer name, and that would be the source of that conflict.  I'm not
sure that it would interfere with copying, though.

Your ISP really should not be allowing different customers to see each
others' computers, if only because of potential conflicts like this.
If you can see the Shared Documents folders on your own computers
without needing a password, then the other people sharing your tower
can probably also see your folders.

Hmm, don't you have a router?  I'd expect a router to keep your
personal network stuff from being seen by other people outside your
network.
