Don't think so. This wireless is the type where you have to have an 
antenna on the roof pointed to
the tower. The tower reads my "MAC" number off of the wireless card 
before letting me connect.

I have clicked on some of these connections and received "Name not 
found", "Access Denied" or
the Password login would appear. There is one or two that lets me 
connect but there is nothing in
their one shared folder. I have left a txt file in them to tell them to 
password protect their computer.

Yes it is XP Media Center and the problem only appears with it and Beyond TV
