[pchelpers] Ethernet cable

The Ethernet cable that is used with Verizon DSL fits securely in the back of
the PC but is loose in the modem port. The Verizon technical representative
felt I needed a new Verizon cable which is being shipped to my home.
Actually, the Westell 2200 is the second Verizon modem I am using. The older
one is out of date. I should have three Ethernet cables: the one from the
previous modem, the present modem, and a Radio Shack Ethernet cable. I can
only find two cables.
Is there any logic to the Verizon representative feeling that I must use a
Verizon Ethernet cable? - Gerald

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
