I knew you would pick on the "face to face conversation" thing. That's
irrelevant to me. Just the same I do not like having to wade through
regurgitated posts to get to the next message.
Few are away from their email long enough they need everything quoted from
start to bottom to stay with it I believe. I think only old time nerds :~ )
who were brought up on the "literally
decades" way of quoting are comfortable with it. And as we all know
dinosaurs soon become extinct 'cause they can't change:~ )  As for not
quoting the old stuff at all I didn't say that nor would I want that. The
post that precipitated the answer should be posted AFTER the answer IMHO.
