[pchelpers] Re: Error message - Please help

Ekhart,

You are a trooper. I do have windows XP Home edition 2002.

I removed the file from the folder and put it on my desktop. Then I
downloaded the file below, and low and behold the problem is solved. WOW, I
can't believe it. The file must, as you say, have been corrupted.

If only I could not manage to make a boot disk, then I would be a happy
camper.

Thanks a million.
Inge

Hi Inge

What version is on your computer? (rightclick, properties, version) I don't
really know what is causing this error; maybe the file is just corrupted. I
would move the file on your computer and put the one on
http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?mfc42u
in its place to see if it gets rid of the error message. Its version number
is 6.0.8665.0

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
