That's right. The system is letting you know that I have to approve the
message before it goes to the list. Leaving in too many lines from the
original message when replying to it is the cause.

You can get it under control by highlighting the non-relevant text and
deleting it, thus responding only to the important bits. It keeps the
list running nice and smoothly without repeating old messages several
times.
