[pchelpers] Drives showig only 128GB

"It" = what?  Windows, or the BIOS, or what?

You may need to call the hard drive vendor(s) about your drives showing
only 128GB.  I've seen that kind of thing before and I've not seen
a solution for it yet.

If you reformatting with a so-called "low-level format" utility, that
may be the source of your problems.

"IDE" and "ATA" are basically the same, although "IDE" is normally
applied to hard drives and "ATA" is normally applied to CD/DVD drives.
Did you perhaps mean SATA?
