[pchelpers] Do All Word Processors use only the fonts found in the WindowsFolder?

I have a general question regarding fonts.
Using Word Perfect it appears that more fonts are available to me than when
I use the 602Pro PC Suite word processor. Doing a search for *.FON indicates
that for a few specialized font files, all of them are in the C:\Windows
folder. I am wondering why the font I can get in 602Pro is from #8 font to
#24 font, while in Word Perfect I can get all the way from #4 font to #72
font.
Does anyone out there have a reasonable explanation for this?

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
