[pchelpers] Re: Disabling McAfee

There are several version for McAfee and I am at the office using different
software and McAfee is at home. I presume I am using the latest version (8.5)
since I download from my new notebook using Vista Home Premium. The McAfee
website gave information to disable the firewall and disabling virus protection
may not be necessary to get the webcam to work.

Other than an unintall is there any way to disable the McAfee anti virus
protection and firewall. It seems that my webcam does not work because of the
previously mentioned interference. Does anyone here have McAfee or does
everyone use generic software whose definition files are probably not up to
date?

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
