Firstly, quality will be the same no matter what size card you have, at
least I've found this to be the case, and I think you mean "Sandisk*
heheh................using 8 megapixels on a camera, will give near perfect
pictures, by that I mean no one will be able to tell between that and a film
print. However, even with a 256 card, 8 megs is going to reduce greatly the
number of pics you can take unless you select one of the lower print sizes
but keep the best quality Most of the branded photo papers are good, it
only comes down to personal choice, but i get excellent results with Staples
own brand.......................however, watch out for *Picture Paper* it
isn't the same as Photo Paper, and Kodak does this I don't know about anyone
else. As to the programs, with the list you have, you shuld be able to turn
out good prints, though for red eye reduction, I find that the pic editing
facility that comes with Roxio EZ creator 6 is the best there is, it simply
just works.

Subject: [pchelpers] Digital camera, memory card, programs, and photo paper
> Greetings Everyone:
> I would like to know if a 256 meg card for a digital camera will produce
better pictures-- and what kind, someone told me this which I doubt very
much but you know with technology I certainly could be wrong . I thought it
was just a memory card to store pictures until you unload them on your
computer it came with 128 scandisk memory card I am not very familiar with
this end as I am in the finishing and design on the computer I do have a
very good digital camera over 8 pixels---its a Nikon-- with a good zoom-LCD
viewer I have had for about a month. I have HP-- Photo Smart printer .
> Now I need to ask you what is an excellent quality photo paper-- Right
now I am using Kodak Ultima Picture Paper High Gloss Photo Paper I would
like top quality photo paper to print out these photos and pictures. Is
there just Adobe in this field of programs-- or are there other than you can
have a lot of tools to work with-- I have Picture It, Adobe
Elements--Ulead, Panorama Maker -- There are a number of things I want to
know I feel these programs I listed are limited in what you can do..What
about the finishing quality? Can I get this quality? I am wondering those
familiar with these things could point me in the right direction .
> Thank You in advance,

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
