Suggesting that it would be easier to use the DOS command to build a TXT
file and then just open the file with a current Windows Word Processor.
For example at the c:\promt
type dir >c:\mytext.txt [enter]
Then just open mytext.txt with Wordpad or some other word processor from
Windows. Then you can edit it or format it whatever and print it to your
normal Windows default printer. I personally have an HP Photosmart Win
Printer and DOS cannot see it either. When I run DOS programs that also
print, I have the old HP672C connected to the parallel port through a
parallel switch which the DOS program can then 'see'.
