Hi Cyril,
It translates badsite.com to 127.0.0.1, which is your own computer.
GDS is attempting to connect to /127.0.0.1:4664, which *should* be
handled by a server installed as part of GDS. Normal web sites go to
:80 or to :443, not to :4664. Unless you're running a web server, :80
and :443 are ignored, and therefore get no response.
