 Interestingly, WinXP doesn't seem to support DHCP for WINS.

I am new to networking but the only place I know that DHCP is used is in the
IP section.  It is found there in both 98 & XP.

I start next week taking a course to become a MCSE LAN administrator.  Local
(40 miles away) Tech college is now offering such a course online totally
and most of cost is covered by govt. Rest by my employer.
I will do most of my studying at work.  I set myself up  a small network at
home just to experment.  I am running XP & 98.  The course will cover mainly
Win 2000 server and stuff..
