Yes but it hasn't been tested its a prebuild and it will be time bombed--  
that means too it still has a lot of bugs.

 Trudy why don't you download  MS virtual pc 2007 its free  you can install 
it right within Vista on the same partition and put XP  in there and use 
your printer etc thats easier way to go .. Did you email Acer ? I would  put 
a prebuild or a beta  only on  a test machine  that is mainly for testing it 
you might really regret it. Some of them can really damage your computer or 
mess up the bios.   Watch out for the freebees it could be pretty messy  and 
shouldn't be your main OS . XP SP2  is quite a stable OS  and  soon they 
will be releasing live SP3  on WU for XP also for Vista SP1 will be released
