After setting up Ubuntu 8 yesterday (itś excellent by the way), I
remembered that there are some sites I only access by FTP (File Transfer
Protocol). A search revealed this explanation:
http://blog.mypapit.net/2007/09/how-to-use-ftp-in-ubuntu-linux.html
It looks workable for some versions, but this one is set out differently.
Does anyone know where the ¨Connect to server"service is in Ubuntu 8?

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
