[pchelpers] Change Open With in Vista

In Vista I have had no success in getting it to accept editpad.exe as 
the default program to open .txt files.
I use Open With to browse to the file and select editpad.exe it but 
Vista refuses to accept that as the  program to use.

Has anyone been able to make it work?
