[pchelpers] Re: Canon Printer / ink question

Re-Na,
I always print using 'print in gray scale' when I am not specifically
doing color. I use it as a default although some programs refuse to use
the default and it needs to be set manually.

Color inks do slowly get used up just because the nature of them is
to evaporate even if you never use them. I generally just refill mine
but the Canon chip only remembers the original fill. After that you have
to check the ink levels manually also to make sure they do not run
completely dry.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
