I've posted before but it's been over a year, maybe even two. Congrats to
John on his site award.
One quick note on the above question that shows up in his site. It seems to
me that besides the Hurcules/VGA video combination for two seperate displays
on one system, we also had covered Windows 98 capibility of supporting up to
three seperate video cards as long as they were AGP or PCI based. I have
been running side by side monitors driven by seperate video cards on my
system since the relese of Win 98. Windows 98 extends the desktop from one
monitor to the next. You also have the ability to have different
resolutions/color depth defined for each of the video cards in your system
along with the ability to define the physical position of each monitor in
relation to the other one or two connnected to the system. I'm not sure if
MicroSoft decided to keep this abilty in Windows ME or the upcoming XP but I
wouldn't be surprised if they did.
